YHC tweeted out the night before about all hands needed at the Farm tomorrow for early spring chores; we have some runnin’ around to do.  12 fresh from the fartsack PAX dutifully posted to the AO to get a serving of pain while running errands.  No FNGs so we begin:

Warm-o-rama:

SSH x 20

IW x 20

Sir Fazio forward x 20 (hold)

Moroccan night clubs x 20 (hold)

Sir Fazio reverse x 20

This little shoulder routine is vying for a lexicon change by it’s author – Moonshine – to name it “Sir Fazio nightclubs” or something along those lines.  It certainly is one of YHC’s favorites and a PAX favorite given the sigh of relief that often follows.

Mountain climbers x 20

The Thang:

The Q followed a similar route around the town of Rolesville previously established by Lucky that upon completion was pretty close to a 5k.  The Q notified the PAX that upon every beeping sound from the Q’s watch, 10x Burpees were due.  Since the timer was set on 3 minutes, this should work out to around 130 burpees for the day.

As we made ourselves around to the rear of the local elementary school, it was time for a short break served up as four corners, elevator style:

Sprint to corner 1: 10x merkins

Corner 2: 20x carolina dry docks

corner 3: 30x lunge jumps

corner 4: 40x bronco busters

Returning the elevator back to the first floor; repeat above in reverse.

A few count-offs while holding squats and we hit the fields again, continuing the burpee run.  As we neared a very familiar rock pile, the Q pulled an audible on the field and decided on another short break to get some coupon work in.  As the PAX grabbed their favorite rock:

Overhead press 10x

chest press 10x

Heavy Freddie’s 10x

Curls 10x

Triceps extension 10x

Bent over rows 10x

And the burpee run resumes, noting a couple of ice patches that imposed possible skull damage to those not paying attention.  As we neared the end of the run, the Q called a shortcut back to the flag due to time constraints thus we didn’t quite get the 5K in but it was a good run none the less.

MOM:

LBC 50x

6″ leg holds while each PAX takes turns counting to 10.

End

Name-o-rama; welcome Green Mile to the farm, second posting for the week, good work brother.

Announcements:  Spring mud run coming fast, final signups due mid-march.  The Mule is next Saturday, however the Farm session will be held.

Patina took us out in Prayer.
