Nine men posted this morning on the North Hills turf. Given the AO, YHC had some window shopping planned. Intro, disclaimer(FNG present) and mission statement were given. We stayed on the turf for a little warm-up:

  • Imperial Walkers x20 IC
  • Cotton Pickers x15 IC
  • SSHs x15 IC

Not wanting to waste time, we moseyed(walked, as this is a non-running site) to the movie theatre for the Thang. Pax would move from store to store, stopping at every other store for an exercise. Each stop would be a 1 minute interval, AMRAP. We would move from each stop with alternating bear crawls and lunge-walks between stores. We moved from the Theatre to JC Penny’s and back. YHC intended for their to be 20 stops but believe we only got 18 stops in due to time. Here they are(possibly out of order):

  • Prisoner Squats
  • Quick Feet
  • Calf Raises
  • Merkins
  • Dips
  • SSHs
  • Mountain Climbers
  • LBCs
  • Step Ups
  • American Hammer
  • Peoples Chair
  • WWIs
  • High Knees
  • Plank/low plank
  • Urkins
  • Sumo squats
  • Freddy Mercurys
  • Burpees

Our shopping tour ended at Fox & Hound and we gathered back at the astro-turf. Only 1-2 minutes to spare, we did a 5 count(each member of the Pax) 6-inch leg hold. Last exercise was Have a Nice Day.

FNG in the gloom this morning. Mr. Jin Kim, further known as Happy Meal. He works at Merrill Lynch, went to NC State and his first job was at McDonald’s. Once the first job thing was announced, there was some debate of names such as McDowell’s, Big Mic and Happy Meal. Pax agreed with a few laughs on Happy Meal. YHC will say that Happy Meal appears to be in pretty good shape and hung in very well for his first time out. Welcome to the gloom Happy Meal!

Announcements were brief, convergence on July 4th. Also, if traveling this coming week/weekend, hit up twitter to find other F3 groups or guys who may be in your area.

Prayer requests for Red Dog’s 2.0 who is having minor surgery today. Also, continued prayers for Cheech from F3 Lexington SC. Pax was reminded to be safe when working out and also be safe when driving.

Mr. Slate took us out in prayer.

Thanks for the opportunity to lead this morning.
