In the welcome cool air, 4 Pax arrived ready to work.  The number was perfect for what was going to unfold at Eastgate Park.  YHC rolled in 15 minutes early to search the nearby woods for fallen logs suitable to be used for the workout.  There was a single Pax heavy log, 2 Pax heavy log and a single Pax light log.  Quick warm up was a stretch and that’s all…off to the woods to grab our friends then back to the parking lot.

Circuit 1 – arm curl in cadence to 20, squat hold with log on thighs, prisoner squats to 15…rotate positions.  Everyone gets a turn at each position so a total of 4 rounds.

Circuit 2 – (partner shoulder lift) log on shoulder facing partner, press overhead to opposite shoulder using both heavy logs.  20 PSL and then into 15 partner overhead press.  Switch logs for round 2.

Merry in the middle to rest.  LBC ladder to 25 and back down.

Circuit 3 – 1 Pax carries single heavy log across lot and back while remaining go through plank progression.  switch until all go through.  next round has the 6 inch leg hold instead of plank.

Circuit 4 – Pax in position for circle of merkins.  each does 1, then 2, 3, up to 10.  55 merkins total.

Jog down park entrance to the far stairs and back to lot to recover.
