After YHC’s week off recovering from the GoRuck Challenge, it was back to business in the Monday gloom.  Having no FNGs, no disclaimer was given.

The Pax circled up for warm-up which consisted of:

25 side straddle hops;

Pax indian ran 1/2 mile down Woodmere to Rangecrest and at the peak counted off into two groups.  Group 1 took off down the hill for 7’s of hand release ‘mericans and prisoner squats; group 2 started the same 7’s at the peak.

Following completion, the pax indian ran back to the AO where we found picnic benches.

25 dips;

25 alternating left-right step-ups;

10 hand release ‘mericans;

15 25 alternating left-right step-ups; and then back to the parking lot for Mary.

15 Freddy Mercury;

15 hello Dolly;

Name-a-rama.

Announcements:  Ultimate Challenge Mud Run in 6 months.  Start training.  The Forum at Panera Bread on Six Forks at 12:00.

Prayer concerns:  YHC’s sister-in-law who has had a recurrence of cancer.

YHC shared about the GRC.  Most mentally and physically challenging thing he has ever done. Penultimate CSUP.  At lowest/weakest moment, thought of Jesus’ suffering and for a moment put all the pain and exhaustion in perspective.  The GRC was nothing compared to his sacrifice.

Azul prayed us out and made us aware of the number of children that die in the world daily due to malnutrition/hunger.

Honored to lead the Pax.  Aye!
