YHC grew up scrambling through the creek and woods of Fallon Park. As teenagers, we’d hang out in the gazebo next to the field where we warmed up today. There may have been a smuggled beer or two. Maybe a pack of smokes from The Little Store. And if you had of told me then, that a future me would be leading a group of 18 men through this park one day, doing some crazy workout, I would have laughed my pimply faced ass off. Especially if you told me it would be in the gloom at 5:45 AM. Well, things certainly change. And YHC was proud to take the PAX on a stroll around Fallon Park this morning. Here’s what we did:

Name-o-rama
“I am always doing that which I can not do, in order that I may learn how to do it.” – Pablo Picasso.
We tried a new exercise today from the lexicon. The Dr. W. This is an 8-count exercise incorporating a Dolly, Rosalitta, and a W (hands reach up between Rosalitta). In the end, I think we figured it out. It was pretty ridiculous in both how it looked and how painful it became. But we learned something new. And that was my very small lesson for the day.

Peach Pit lead us out

Lots of 2nd F chatter at the gathering, and I almost missed our start. But 2nd F is what keeps us coming back. And we were only a minute behind schedule. The Pax had no problem making that up.
There were several out front all morning, but the 6 was never far behind. Very impressive work by all.
Fungo and Myrtle led the mumble chatter. Fungo remarking that I’d have to come to Heavy Metal to see a real thruster (TWSS). But somehow, I think it’s too late. TBD. I will have to deduct -3 from Myrtle for the cutoff ear reference, after I quoted Pablo Picasso. Wrong artist, Myrtle. Good effort to be heard (as usual).
Thanks everyone for pushing hard today. Let’s do it again soon.

Aye!
