11 PAX came out in the cold and rain to celebrate Pergo’s 1 year anniversary. It just so happened that Pergo was not one of them. The clock struck 5:30, and no sign of Pergo, so Ron Mexico tried to buy him some time with a little warmup:
Run around the parking lot x 2
SSH x 15
Good Morning x 15
Imperial Walker x 15
Still no sign of Pergo at this point, so we were off, up Millbrook Road to the greenway. On the way, the PAX was asked if anyone had any ideas that morning. More than one stepped up to the plate, and a makeshift, pass the q lead, workout was formed.
Villa started it off, calling for PAX to find a spot on the wall for 2 rounds of
Merkins x 8
Derkins x 8
Peoples chair, right leg out x 8
Peoples chair, left leg out x 8
Continue on the greenway to the parallel bars, split into 3 groups:
Group 1 does dips, group 2 does heels to heaven, group 3 does burpees x 15. Rotate when burpees are done until each group does all 3 stations.
Villas passes the baton to Manram, who leads the PAX to the bridge. Partner up and wheelbarrow across bridge, switching as needed. Continue down the greenway to where it splits up to Lakeway Drive, and do partner carries up the path, run back down, switch and repeat.
Manram tags in Fazio, who leads PAX back to the bridge on the run, with some lunge walk thrown in. At the bridge, do 10 merkins, bear crawl half way, 10 diamond merkins bear crawl to the end, 10 wide grip merkins.
From there, Friar Tuck takes the reigns. Grab a rock by the parallel bars, circle up for:
Quick feet on rock x 20
Curls x 15
Ski mogul jumps side to side x 20
Shoulder press x 15
Ski mogul jumps front to back x 20
Tricep extensions x 15
Quick feet x 20
Curls x 15
Single leg jumps over rock x 20 each leg
Shoulder press x 15
Return your rock and run back to the parking lot
Singlewide closes it out with Mary:
LBC x 25
American hammer x 25
Strong work by all. Great to see willingness of everyone to step up this morning. Sometimes not having a plan breeds some real creativity.
Announcements: Neighbor to Neighbor community fair Saturday from 11 to 3. Bring your kids, will be games and food. Located off Blount Street.
Singlewide closed us out with some strong words of prayer.
