19 Pax ventured into the gloom for a beautiful, quiet morning in an otherwise chaotic world. No FNGs, so we start with a brief “follow me” and we’re off for a morning that epitomizes F3.

There’s so much going on in the world, as well as in each of our lives, but F3 gives us an outlet to escape it all for 45 minutes and then be encouraged and lifted up to deal with it all. In his letter to the exiles in what is today’s Turkey, Peter encouraged those facing trials in their lives. In verse 3:15 (hence the reps of 15 in the workout), he wrote “…Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” We should we face our trials, respond to others and live our lives in a way that makes others take notice and want to ask us why we’re different. Peter finished that verse with “But do this with gentleness and respect,…” When we do encourage, or respond or even disagree with others, do so in a way that carries out our calling to “love your neighbor as yourself.”
This morning epitomized this verse, as well as why F3 means so much to us. This was a simple workout, but hard enough to challenge and push every one of us. Before and after the workout, there was fellowship of all around – congratulating Melamin on his Virgin Q, complimenting Grady on his Monkey Humper form, talking about the Vegas shootings, reminiscing about college days, checking on Tinkertoys calf, and joking (sort of) about how hard the workout at Juggernaut will be. Simple conversations that encourage, inspire and send us out ready to be better men…and ready to do it again.
Always humbled and proud to lead.
