Having volunteered the previous week when the temps were hovering around freezing, YHC was pleasantly surprised to see the mercury hit the 50’s for this edition of GF. Some may say it was the warm temps that brought out the crowd, but I’m going to say it had to be the CW improv special that brought them out. 24 pax were ready to see what the morning would hold, including YHC who still ha some planing to do. With no fng’s in sight no disclaimer was necessary, so off we went.
The Thang:
Jog towards the front of the school, a quick Robert Plant on the side steps, and continue to Six Forks then head north to the office building across the next block, COP # 1. Warm-ups of the usual sort, SSH, GM, SNFAC, and so on. YHC called for a count, and Shaggy noticed YHC was just stalling to figure out the next work, 10 burpee’s oyo.
With nothing else coming to mind we would just have to run. Split into 2 groups, one stays and works while the other loops the building, then flip flop. We did this 5 or 6 times, enough to get a comment from Fazio about not being at Hi-Fidelity and some good old fashion complaining from Oswald’s brother.
YHC heard the call to stop running, so he did. On your 6 for an LBC pyramid to 35 and back, this sucked. 25 is usually the call, 30 can seem tough, but 35 out right sucked, back to our feet.
Head back to the Effie Green campus, to the traffic loop on the side of the building. One group out to the front and make your way around the big loop while the other group heads to the back lot for a loop, meet back in the middle for 10 hi-five merkins, head in the opposite direction and once back find a partner for 10 hi-five WWII’s.
Circle up on the grass for a set of Jack Webb’s 1 to 4, all the way to 10 and 40, this sucked as bad as anything for the morning. Have a nice day finished it out.

YHC talked about the good Samaritan and how sometimes God is going to call us out of our comfort zones to get our hands dirty, that we need to be willing to step up when we see need. The good Friar prayed us out and we were done.
The Skin
Great crowd, plenty of mumble chatter, couldn’t ask for better weather in January. Had entire BB done on plane last week and screen went black all of the sudden. Sorry for the delay in getting this done, but it is!
