Another beautiful day (71 degrees @ Post) in the neighborhood as Mr. Rogers would say as he was present along with 18 other Pax for a day to honor 11 as this being the 11th of August. The 11th has some significance in our Nation as the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918 when Armistice went into effect with Germany, we now call it Veteran’s Day. We had a number of veterans in the PAX this morning and honor them always. Thank you for your service…..always! We are also coming upon 9-11 in which we will honor the heroes who climbed the stairs of the twin towers on that frightful day in 2001. We will be climbing the towers at Carter – Finley again this year. Here we go:

The Thang
Jog down to the rock pile and pick a non-traveling rock. At this, our home station, we did the following OYO:
11 Curls, 11 Overhead Press, 11 squats, 11 Overhead Arm Extensions
The Next Station was the entrance or the park where we did 11 Squats return to the home station and do the exercises above.
The Next Station was the Speed Bump going into the Park where we did 11 Merkins return to the home station and repeat.
The goal was to try to do 11 rounds….we did not make the goal but gave a great effort.

In honor of 11 I went to the 11th Book in the Bible (I Kings) 11 th Chapter….the 11th verse needed a premise so I read from verse 9-13. The Lord Raises Adversaries – Keep your focus on the Lord in all that you do.

Moleskin: Great workout this morning with 5 for EC. Saw some new faces to Juggernaut and welcome to FNG, Sand Dollar who just moved here from Florida. Hope to see you all again in the gloom soon. As I write this, Michael is home as we picked up from the airport after a 30 hour flight from China. He looks great although tired. We look forward to what the Lord has in store for him and all of us.
