This week I get to pick the route. My first few ideas were a little long (not Mule long, but too long for a 45 min workout) but hopefully Map My Run won’t let me down on this one. BRR is literally days away so it’s time to start running. Here is the route (approximately a 10K):

  • Left out of the Starbucks at the mall on Glennwood
  • Left on Creedmoor/Edwards Mill and head up the hill (everything is uphill from Crabtree Mall)
  • Left on Glen Eden Dr
  • Right on Ridge Rd
  • Right on Lake Boone Trail
  • Right on the Greenway back towards the mall (not the Art Museum)
  • Ride the Greenway all the way to Blue Ridge
  • Left on Glennwood back to Starbucks
  • COT

Starting times:

  • 5:26: 9-8:30 min/mile
  • 5:30: 8:30-8 min/mile
  • 5:34: Sub 8 min/mile
