Wilson and Orwell arrived at Hopebuilders and prior to entering Dufresne’s castle were talking about eastern North Carolina stuff…specifically deer hunting with dogs. Up pulls Maize wearing a pink shirt and very pretty tie….I must say, he was a mighty fine looking PAX. It confirmed again how much diversity we have in F3…although Wilson later said he expects if in a pinch, pink could do in place of Blaze Orange if needed in the woods while deer hunting.
Dufresne was ready for us as we walked in, and I saw a level of seriousness in his eyes that I haven’t seen before. As soon as we started, it was apparant to everyone that Dufresne was as strong as we had seen him, and was pushing it at a level that was mighty impressive. Below is “The Thang”

Confirmed Dufresne and M. Dufresne are attending our F3 Christmas Party. Got around to talking about how several PAX (Duff, Zima, Au Pair and others) are beer makers/judges at a high level, and found out that Dufresne can drink beer and intends to at our Christmas Party! With all the beer professors we have, I expect we can pick out what should be the best beer Dufresne has had.
We ended by reading the devotion from Jesus Calling as printed below and Wilson ended with a powerful Prayer. We mentioned to Dufresne that the author Sara Young had been and still was battling Lyme disease. It was a special time reading this devotion for all of us.

Do not be surprised by the fiery attacks on your mind. When you struggle to find Me and to live in My Peace, don’t let discouragement set in. You are engaged in massive warfare, spiritually speaking.
