the rain cooled off the morning air over at Lourdes and even though it was coming down, 8 Pax were not deterred. As this was the last time of having pallets in my car, it was a nice change to have a small group rather than the average 25+. note: the plan was scattered so some of the workout may be missed, my apologies. We started at the parking deck.
Warm-up: 20xSSH, each found a line at a parking space for front to back jumps, side to side, alt. x 20 each IC. circle up for world’s greatest stretch. done…
the thang:
Pax lined up and picked up a pallet passed it to the next man all the way down the line…last man stacked them on his side. once all pallets passed down the line downward dog for the tunnel of love. (military crawl underneath the cave of Pax) After the last man gets through we lined up and started sending pallets down the line again. Repeated this until the other side of the parking lot was reached. Mozart (70+) gracefully bowed out to do some strong plank progressions including planting his feet flat against the wall for a perfect horizontal plank. Aye!
at the end of the lot we ran a circuit of the parking lot stripes. burpee – down the stripe – shuffle – up the strip – burpee…and so on until all the parking spaces were hit.
now it was time to get wet…jog down to the bottom of Overbrook for a suicide run.
1st street light x20 star jumps,
2nd street light x20 merkins,
3rd street light x20 burpees.
end the run back into the covered deck and did a quick LBC pyramid 25 and back to rest the legs and arms, but not for long.
Pax set up for a circle of merkins (up to 10) hold plank while you wait for your turn, circle of squats (up to 7) hold squat while you wait.
Ended with a parking deck long pallet carry and circle of LBCs hold crunch while you wait.
I think that some of the workout is missing, but it was a strong morning.
COT and a great prayer by Forest to take us out.
