The Urban Jungle Pax of 25 were led today by Life Alert and YHC (Larry David). We had a great mix with veterans such as Rain Man, White Shoe, Zima, Steroid, Elsinore, 8 Mile joining the UJ crowd today. Our pal Countrywide was scheduled to Q but apparently hurt his back yesterday – hope you recover quickly my friend. And a quick special welcome to my friend Mack Winslow who posted for the first time at F3 and is now named “I Like Tacos”. Not the most creative bunch at Urban Jungle today but that’s a name no one will forget and it’s sure to get a lot of laughs.
Life Alert took the reins first and here’s how it went:

Run to Astroturf in front of movie theater at which point the PAX were greeted by Little Miss Sunshine who politely stated: “Oh hell no, that’s my turf. I reserved that.” I’ll give the young lady credit, she was not intimidated by the 25 men of F3 and told us what she was thinking. Despite her advocacy, we did a quick warmup on the turf as follows:
Side shuffle hp x 25
Burpees slow and in cadence x 10
Good mornings x 15
Ski abs x 20
Leave the turf and head to fountain near Mura
Incline merkins x 15
Dips x 15
Decline merkins x 15
Bear crawl loop down stairs and up handicap accessible ramp
Bear crawl back the same route in reverse
Run to Target and lineup along curb
Incline merkins x 15
Mountain climbers x 20
Run to rock-pile behind Target and grad a rock (pass rock to left after each exercise)
Curls x 15
Shoulder press x 15
Tricep extension x 15
Cusack squats cx 15
11’s with merkins on rock and over rock raise
LD takes over
Run to parking deck lower level and partner up for some wheel-barrow and stair-barrow fun
Half the Pax Wheel-barrow up ramp along-side JCPenney with 10 wheelbarrow merkins at top while other half of Pax stairbarrow with 10 merkins at top; flapjacking for each location. Sounds easy doesn’t it.
Back in parking deck line up along wall. Partner 1 runs length of deck and back while partner 2 does merkins – keep going until you reach 150 merkins. When finished lots of people’s chair.
Head back to parking lot in front of JC Penneys and close with American hammers x 40.
Prayer requests to Swirlie’s friend’s family who just lost their mom. Also Friar Tuck heading to Rwanda on another mission for the good word.
