YHC arrived a little on the early side and confirmed that they do indeed water the soccer fields early in the am. Though it is the right thing to do, it created a last minute change in plans. Such is life. Probably a first for #F3FieldOfDreams with all pax arriving with 6 minutes till post. Ma Bell planted the shovel flag and we welcomed GREASE MONKEY, a NASCAR and Red Bull pro from Davidson, not to be confused with Cary’s finest Shade Tree. With the extra time, a cacophony of mumble chatter erupted. And with that the PAX of 9 were off.
WARMUP:
Indian run to the upper baseball circle for 25 cts of SSH and Mtn Climbers, 15 cts of good am and windmill, and a potpourri [YHC put this one in for you Franklin] of merkins – planks – merkins – Sarkozy/ Putins.
THANGs:
- Recover and mosey to parking lot to improvised baseball diamond. Break into two groups for a total of 4 rounds.
- G1 Bear crawl to 1st, one legged hop to 2nd, forward / backward Crab to 3rd, broad jump to home
- Meantime G2 AMRAPs merkins, 8 pt man makers, squats with toes out, double time LBCs alternating between center, to the right and then left.
- Callahan threw the penalty flag on YHC, a correct call making group 2 finish out their set. We work as a team – 10 burpees.
- Grease Monkey correctly called a foul on Franklin for referring to the squats as a PLIÉ – next thing you know, he will be calling balls to wall, boobs to bricks.

Group 1 called out Group 2 for sandbagging and quitting before all of G1 completed. Remember boys this is a team effort. Largemouth stole the show on the parking lot sprints.
We picked up cones, recovered on mosey to end of lot, and then AYG down to shelter for Mary.
MARY:

Naked Moleskin:
There was lots of mumble chatter. I can’t say enough. Mumble chatter is a huge part of F3. Just as the exercise changes us because of the physical demands, mumble chatter makes us stronger because of the challenges on our abilities and leadership skills [or lack of]. Deal it up boys.
