It was cold….really cold. 4 PAX arrived fully layered up, and ready to run a few hills. 1 PAX (shall remain nameless) arrived sporting spirited runnin’ breaches. YHC guesses that’s how they like them in the California Sun. Yet another PAX, arrived sans head gear. May the Lord truly bless his ears. 5:29am cars exited. 5:30 PAX on the jog.

Head down Horton street to the entrance of the Greenway. Circle up:

Standard Enronian warm-up:

  • Good Mornings x15, Imperial Walkers x15, Windmills x15

Head down the greenway to the base of the Copperhead. The workout d’jour is hill running. Run to the top await everyone to finish. All 4 together.

Run across pedestrian bridge to the NCMA side.

Time for a nice long half-pipe (thanks to the Forge. YHC is still riding this wave).

  • Jog down the greenway, cross both bridges, and up to the trail split at the water fountain. 10 wide grip merkins, 10 (4 count) LBC’s
  • Run down and back up to the pedestrian bridge. 10 standard Merkins, 10 (4 count) American Hammers.
  • Repeat the trek 2 more times. Focus on breathing and pace up and down the hills.

High plank hold till all PAX finish. Jog across bridge and to the base of the copperhead.

Give it all you have up the Copperhead. PAX collect at top, and come back down together.

Fellowship jog to the base of Horton. Give it a good go back to the VSF.
