But you. Why you wanna give me a run-around? Is it a sure-fire way to speed things up? When all it does is slow me down. – Blues Traveler

THE THANG

– Partner up (or leave, your choice).
– Run ~1 mile from the parking lot down the Blue Loop to the Dojo short track.

Partner A runs the loop (around the Dojo up to where those weird rings are and back to where you left you partner.) 1 burpee at the rings on 1st trip, 2 burpees at the rings on 2nd trip, etc…

Partner B:

  • 10 Wide-Arms
  • 10 Merkins
  • 10 Carolina Dry-Docks
  • 25 Sumo Squats
  • 25 LBCs

Rinse and repeat until 6:10am. Mosey back to the parking lot for Mary.

By the end of the workout, the PAX had completed the following:

  • +/- 36 Burpees
  • +/- 80 Merkins
  • +/- 80 Wide-Arms
  • +/- 80 Carolina Dry-Docks
  • +/- 200 Sumo Squats
  • +/- 200 LBCs
  • 50 more LBCs in cadence back at the parking lot.

MOLESKIN

Lots of running in circles, but great hustle from the PAX out there today. It could be just me, but today felt like the first actual fall morning out there and wasn’t muggy (I fartsacked yesterday, so it could’ve been nice then, I suppose). I think everyone got in close to 8 trips up the loop, and I’m pretty confident that I couldn’t have done much more had we had time.

A new term of #carsack may need to be added to the Lexicon at the expense of Costco.

Carsack: verb 1. the act of waking up, going to a workout, and leaving before it starts.

Lots of people to keep in your prayers, and follow @F3Raleigh for announcements and 2nd/3rd F opportunities.

Thanks for the opportunity to lead, Denali. Always a pleasure.

Aye.
