On a balmy 95 degree Summer afternoon, I solo Q’d my first workout & more importantly, my first Arena.  This venue is special, & the opportunity has quickly become one I look forward to.

5 PAX were summoned to Pullen Park for a soggy jog over to The Healing Place- Arena.  There we were met by 13 PAX (9 HP Clients).  The 30 minutes spent together on these Friday afternoons are clearly valued & cherished by all participants on both sides of the line.  All who showed were eager to bust it, and sweat…and sweat we did.  Let’s keep it up.

 

Warm Up:

In Healing Place courtyard.  SSH x 20, Good Morning x 15, Wind Mill x 15, Squat Pyramid 5,10,15 (hold for 5 secs) up & down, Dips x 20

The Thang:

Leave HP Courtyard down to road.  Quick Feet x 30, 10 Irkins, Quick Feet x 30, 10 Derkins. Run over to lot above gas pumps.  Modified Jacob’s Ladder.  Freddie Mercury x 5 for every Burpee (up to 7)…total of 7 laps.

Mary:

Ran out of time. In parking lot in front of HP. Countrywide brought drinks for everyone (much needed and appreciated).
