The Thang:
Counted off into two groups.
Indian run down Dartmouth to St. Alban’s to State to Park to entrance to Captrust Tower stairwell.
Here’s where the fun began…Stairway to Elevens:
Round 1: Group 1 ran up the stairwell, did Elevens of wide grip merkins and LBCs up and down. Floor 2 – 10 wg merkins, 1 LBC; Floor 3 – 9 wg merkins, 2 LBCs; etc…finished coming back down on Floor 3, descended two flights and did 10 burpees. Group 2 started with 10 burpees and completed the exercise.
Round 2: Stairway of Elevens with diamond merkins and prisoner squats. Also 10 burpees at start or finish.
Round 3: Stairway of Elevens with standard merkins and WWII sit ups. Also 10 burpees at start or finish.
Ran back across Six Forks to parking lot where we did warmups. Did some Shaggy Squats while we waited for the light to change. 10 burpees OYO and sprinted back to JC Penney parking lot. Unfortunately, we were out of time for Mary…
