The Schenck Forest Trail Race is back again this year on Saturday November 4th at 8:00am. Please join us for a beautiful trail run through Schenck Forest and along Richland Creek. Our race will again benefit Haven House of Raleigh and there are links to donate. If you are not able to run, follow the same link as we need volunteers to help set up, direct runners, sweep the course, etc.
The course will be slightly different this year with a few new sections. We will still cross Richland Creek a couple of times and also run across the Richland Creek Reservoir Dam with fantastic morning views!
The Carl Alwin Schenck Memorial Forest is a 245 acre forest located in western Wake County about 10 minutes from the NC State campus. It is managed by N.C. State as a teaching and research forest to demonstrate the multiple benefits generated by an actively-managed forest.
