One year anniversary Q. It’s been just over 1 year since I was a FNG at A-Team on a cold soggy morning. I was treated to a Burt Q complete with Tom Petty playing on a speaker in a zip lock bag. With the rain we spent most of the time doing burpees and variants of burbees and more burbees in one of the shelters. I was actually disappointed that it was not raining this morning but it gave me an excuse to skip all the burpees (like I wasn’t going to skip them regardless).

Mosey to BB courts and line up on the side. SSH x21, Run to other side. IW x 21, Run to other side. Merkins x 21, Run to other side. Mountain climbers x21, Run to other side. And just for Denali, Mummy Kick Fazio arm circles x 21. Everything x21 because of the Sept 7, 2014 VT win vs. Ohio State (35 – 21). Burt’s reference to what turned out to be Ohio States only loss on the season.

The Thang:  Jog to the large shelter for an abbreviated version of the soggy day shelter fest. Incline Merkins, Alternating Left Right Step-ups, Dips, Prisoner Squats all x15. 5-10-15-10-5 pyramid with LBC, Box Jumps and Derkins. Another round of Incline Merkins, Alternating Left Right Step-ups, Dips, Prisoner Squats all x15. 5-10-15-10-5 pyramid with LBC, Derkins and Prisoner Squats. (Franklin had it right I didn’t want to do anymore box jumps).

Jog to the fenced in BB court, find a partner and line up on for some suicides. Started with Regular suicide and Peoples Chair. Then backward run out, regular run back with PC, high knee skip (out) regular run (back) with BTTW. Side Shuffle (out) regular run (back) with PC. Opposite facing side shuffle (out) regular run (back) with BTTW. All PAX for one last regular suicide.

Line up across from partner for a Merkin pyramid. Side 1 x10 merkins, then side 2 x10 while Side 1 recovers. Side 1 x9 while Side 2 recovers, Side 2 x9 while side 1 recovers… down to x1. LBC x30 to close it out.
