Out of curiosity YHC looked up North Cary Park on Google Maps, as I’m sure a lot of you do, to…

  • 1 scope out the AO to help inspire workouts
  • 2 Once and for all see how long a lap around the lot is.

Whilst measuring it, 800′ round trip is what I got, I noticed that the lot looks a bit like a pickle. Thus I dub thee The Pickle. More stats. About 8 laps around The Pickle  = a little over a mile.

The Warm Up:

  • SSH x 30
  • IW x 20
  • GM x 15
  • WM x 14
  • MC x 20
  • World’s Greatest Stretch – Thx Box Jump, although I think I flubbed it.

The Thang:

Short Circuit x Ladder Workout

Do 1 at all points and then 2,etc. on up to 10. Then reverse directions and count back down to 1

  • Point #1 – Scuba Buddha
  • Point #2 – Burpee
  • Point #3 – Star Jump
  • Point #4 – 8 Count Manmaker

If math is correct then finishing would equal to 100 reps of each exercise and 400 reps total however…The furthest Pax got was going back down the ladder to 5. Further noted that YHC was not that Pax. *YHC only got to 7 going down the ladder. #humbled

The adage goes if you hear “Banjo”s then paddle faster. However no matter how fast we went he went faster. The man was unstoppable today. #Intensity was brought. You sir are today’s BAD @$$

NMS:

The lovely thing about a circuit in my opinion is that it’s a workout that fits PAX of all levels. The faster guys can push and challenge themselves while the rest can still go at the intensity level they are currently at. Seeing the drive of others helps me ramp up my game. #isi.

As always an honor to lead. See you in the gloom.
