Men in America are on an increasing curve towards isolation and loneliness. The men of F3 are not immune.  While posting together, swapping stories at coffeteria and participating in events like Blue Ridge Relay help increase connections, many pax still feel disconnected or are looking for ways to deepen the bonds with their brothers. We kicked off Uncommon Bonds a few years ago as a way to build those connections further.

Between jobs, families and other responsibilities, it can be hard to find the time needed to nurture those essential relationships. As such, it is imperative to find ways to accelerate the time we do have together.

Sometimes this deepening occurs when men, with strength and vulnerability, share the personal struggles they have faced – struggles unique to the individual but that also touch the raw, human imperatives that life demands of each of us.

Other times, we can enhance those bonds by stepping outside of our habits and routines into wholly different worlds that exist just beyond our awareness and that still impact us and our children. By so doing, it can change our relationship with the community and deepen our humanity.

Come join Cut Me Mick and Couch Trip for the next “Uncommon Bonds” at Ship Community Outreach:

An organization working with the most vulnerable people among us to create healthy and safe communities. Pastor Chris and Anissa will be there to give a brief tour and initiate a discussion around homelessness, drug addiction, trafficking in our community and how each of us may be directly (or indirectly) impacted.   Thanks to Bubbles who introduced us to Ship Outreach!

Please join us: Saturday June 6th at Ship Outreach (2635 S Saunders St) starting at 10 am.
