We recently held a 3rd F event at Ship Outreach and I was inspired by the work they are doing in SE Raleigh, making a difference and filling gaps in the community. We have an opportunity to help them with a particularly impactful project. One of their people built a hydroponic garden that needs to be expanded. The plan will be to enclose it and ultimately have school groups and others from the community visit to see the butterflies and the plants.
It was particularly inspirational, because after phase one, this particular individual lost his girlfriend to suicide and has been struggling to come back. I believe we can help the cause by donating whatever feels right to Ship, with a goal of 7k to provide the funding needed. I have donated and hope you will as well. Here is the link to donate
