YHC was still a bit torn and frayed from Wednesday night’s Rolling Stones concert (Here’s a video I shot at the show. Watch and enjoy: Shine A Light – Carter Finley – Dropbox Link ). It was a great night (that is, if you like the Stones – and YHC loves some Stones). So, since my ears were still ringing with every note, I figured I might as well turn it into a workout. Setlist assembled. Traveling shovel flag planted. Disclaimer given for the FNG. 13 Pax ready to go.  <Cue pyrotechnics>  Follow me!

COT
You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need. Life is a balancing act between wants and needs. Too much of one or the other, and you’ll find yourself out of whack. For example, you know you want a big bacon, egg and cheese MacMuffin and some hashbrowns right now. But if you do, you wreck all the hard work you put in out here. Likewise, workout too much, or enjoy too little, and you will also be out of balance. Too much of anything is probably not good for anyone; so I believe life is all about balance. Find yours.

Welcome FNG Kindergarten Cop.

Thanks for letting me lead today. It’s an honor to have a group of men, get out early, show up in the gloom, and put their time in the Q’s hands, expecting to get what they need. I will always do my best to respect that.
